• 1984-1991: Full-time course (5.5 years) of Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers, department of Aviation Electronic Equipment, Riga, Latvia. Graduated with “Electronics Engineer” degree in Technical Exploitation of Aviation Electronic Equipment with honor (Diploma: TB № 987673)
• 1991-1993: Ameliorated qualification (2 years) at Riga Aviation University, Electronics and Computer Science Department. Passed Professional Training in Computer  Programming with honor (Certificate № 19), Riga, Latvia

Most significant projects:

• 1990-1994: participated in the International Space Project “Mars-96”.  Development of electronics circuits and software. Main purpose of the project - investigation of free water in Martian ground
• 1994, October-November: was invited by Prof. Wlodek Kofman to Grenoble University (France) for taking part in development of software aimed at comet research in the frame of Space Mission “Rosetta”. Main purpose of the project - investigation of internal structure of comet
• 1992-1994: “Radar, Inc.”. Development of electronics circuits and several versions of software for multifunctional subsurface radars "Zond-12" and “Zond-12c”
• 1991-1993: “Radar, Inc.”. Development of electronics circuits and several versions of software for abyssal subsurface radars “Python-01”, “Python-01M” and “Python-02”
• 1995-1996: “Radar, Inc.”. Project "LLevel". Taking part in development of software for radiolocation system for measuring of liquids’ levels
• 1997-1998: “Radar, Inc.”. Development of software for electronic firmware "CI-200" for check-in counters used at airports
