To whom it may concern

I have met Kamil Grigoriev during our work on the international space project Mars'96 in which scientists and engineers from France, the USA, Russia, Latvia and other countries participated. He participated in technical discussion and in field tests. Kamil Grigoriev participated in the development of electronics and software for the georadar meant for radiographic test of top ground layers of Mars under project.

In October 1994, I invited him for 4 weeks in Grenoble to develop some simulation for the ROSETTA mission. He made a very good job, solving complex problems within a short period and showed his faculty of adaptation in a new environment.

During such a short period, he very soon became competent in UNIX programming environment which was new for him, developed the algorithm of calculation of electromagnetic waves passing through a comet nucleus, implemented this algorithm in a successful program on the basis of IBM-380 computer and made a detailed report of this work.

Kamil Grigoriev is thus a good scientists and engineer who was able to solve complex tasks in the domain of algorithm development and programming.
