A Book With A Single Author


The form for work by a single author is this:

Surname, Initial. Title .Place: Publisher, Year.

Hoban, Russell. The Lion of Boaz-Jachin and Jachin Boaz. London: Pan Books, 1974.

For additional works by the same author, use three hyphens instead of repeating the author's name:

Austen, Jane. Northanger Abbey. New York: Signet, 1965.

--- Pride and Prejudice. Ed. Tony Tanner. Harmondsworth, England: Penguin, 1972.
